How far are you from the Wanganui City centre?
Approximately 2 km’s or about 5 minutes drive to the town centre.

How far is Wanganui from other North Island destinations?
45 minutes from Palmerston North
2.5 hours from Wellington
2 hours from New Plymouth
3 hours from Napier
3 hours from Taupo
5.5 hours from Auckland

Are the premises licensed?
Due to the impact of Covid 19, Anndion Lodge is no longer a licensed venue.

Is there any off street parking available at the Lodge?
There is a large off street parking area as well as a double garage and a basement for secure motorcycle garaging.

How many people can the lodge and apartments accommodate at one time?
The complex can accommodate up to 55 people.

Can the complex be booked for exclusive use?
Yes the rooms can be booked individually or collectively as one reservation.
The lodge offers the ideal boutique group accommodation – available for corporate venues (conferences, retreats, team building, work shops etc) pleasure (weddings, birthdays, hen’s weekends, reunions, or any special occasion) or sports accommodation.

Can we get married at Anndion Lodge?
Due to the impact of Covid 19, Anndion Lodge is not currently operating as a wedding or function venue.

Do you have smoking rooms available?
Due to government regulations and the comfort of other guests the lodge is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the front patio and in the back covered entertaining area.

Do you have laundry facilities available?
There is a coin operated washing machine and dryer available for guest use.

Is there internet available?
There are computers with free 24hr high speed broadband plus wireless internet available.

What arrangements can be made for meals?
You can prepare your own meals at your leisure and cook in either the lodges modern fully equipped kitchen or on the gas BBQ’s in the outdoor covered BBQ dinning area.
Meals can be delivered to the lodge or if you wish charged back to your room from local restaurants.

What are the check in and check out times?
Due to daily cleaning and maintenance the rooms are not available for check in until 2pm. Checkout is 10am unless previously arranged, a charge may apply.

What sort of people will we meet at the Anndion Lodge?
Anndion Lodge is unique. There is a very wide and diverse range of guests that stay at the lodge. Some are from near (Aotearoa) and some from afar (International) some arrive alone and some in groups, there are some who are older and some who are young. It does not matter, our diversity of guests is why people enjoy staying with us, hence the saying “Anndion” – the opportunity of meeting new people.

Do you provide bed and breakfast style accommodation?
Continental Breakfast Basket @ $12.00 per person. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice, toast and spreads.

What is your booking payment and cancellation policy?
Your credit card is required for booking confirmation and cancellation policy guarantee only. No deduction will be made from your credit card prior to arrival unless for no shows or cancellations within 48 hours of arrival. A cancellation penalty of one night’s accommodation applies if the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of arrival or in the case of non arrivals all nights booked will be charged for.

Do you have wheelchair friendly accommodation?
Yes the lodge is wheelchair friendly and the super king ensuited room is designed specifically for our disabled guests.

Is Anndion Lodge suitable for young children?
* Lodge – In consideration of all guests the Anndion Lodge is not suitable for younger children unless the Lodge is booked exclusively.
*Apartment – Children are welcome guests in the Poolside Apartment, there is a double pullout in the lounge and there is also a cot available on request.
*Unit – Children are welcome guests in the Anndion Cove Apartment, there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed in one and a double and single bed in the other, there is also a cot available on request.
